Client reviews

“I have worked with dozens of editors and I rate Steff at the top of the list. She went above and beyond to help us edit books for a new publishing venture. She was patient, courteous and professional. She is our editor of choice!”
Antionette Kerr, Co-author of Modern Media Relations for Nonprofits and Co-founder of Bold & Bright Media

“Our relationship with Steff began with her serving as our copy editor… Our relationship with Steff evolved once we elected to …self-publish the book. Steff was extremely supportive of our decision. We read blog posts and books about self-publishing. If we had questions, we turned to Steff who provided real-world insight. At this stage, Steff was our consultant to assist with getting the book published. We selected a graphic artist (to design the book cover), an information designer (for the interior), and an indexer. Steff provided feedback, made suggestions about what to ask these professionals, and developed a checklist of tasks to be completed… Without Steff’s participation as the copy editor and then as a consultant, our dream of publishing our book would not have been realized. We have self-published a non-fiction book, which has many more details to coordinate and organize versus a fiction book. We HIGHLY recommend Steff.”
Natonne Elaine Kemp, Co-author of award-winning There Is Something About Edgefield and Co-founder of Rocky Pond Press.

“Steff did an excellent job editing my Fantasy novel. As with any editing or proof reading it can be difficult to receive criticism. But Steff communicates a very gentle tone while still being highly critical of the manuscript. At the end of the day I feel like not only did my manuscript improve greatly but I also became a better writer thanks to Steff.”
Brian Declan, Author of Hidden in the Reed’s

“I just finished my first novel and had the wonderful experience of working with Stephanie Kemp. As a first time author I had lots of questions and she was very patient with me. She took my work seriously and provided great feedback. She was meticulous with her corrections of my work. Stephanie also met all of the deadlines we set-up. It was a true pleasure to work with Steff and I look forward to working with her on my second book. She made the editing process a great experience for me and I will forever be thankful.”

N. V. Love, Author of Secrets of My Temple

“After I finished writing my first book I was so nervous passing it on for someone else to read my words for the first time. But Stephanie took the time out to meet me in person and we got to know one another and she made me feel so comfortable. Her work is precise and thoughtful as is she. I would recommend her to anyone and can’t wait to work with her again myself.”

India Sweet, Author of 31 Days to your Happy Place.

“For the past several years Stephanie has provided copy-editing services to me; working on presentations, proposal documents, marketing and communications material, website content and other work crucial to an independent contractor. She has the ability to see the wood for the trees; bringing clarity, creativity and purpose to the work. She knows how to dot the i’s and cross the t’s.”
David Hunt, Founder at David Hunt & Associates

“Wow. I feel very lucky to have stumbled upon Stephanie Kemp. I recently wrote a romance novel which she edited for me. Reasonably priced, worked in timely manner, and extremely nice person to work with. She did a great job editing for me. I highly recommend Ms Kemp.”
Em Perna, Author of Grant Me

“Amazing service! The editing provided by Stephanie Kemp’s writing service was exceptional. Her communication up front was timely and helpful. Her pricing was fair, as well as extremely worth the quality of the editing she performed. She set a very reasonable timeline for the work and completed it on time. Her comments and suggestions went well beyond grammar check and were very valuable. My work will be far better thanks to her service. Absolutely will use her business again and she has my highest personal recommendation!”
T.J. Carver, Author of Solo Fathers

“I hired Stephanie to edit some client proposals, and client reports for my consulting firm. These documents have to be perfect, and with Stephanie’s eye for detail, they were. Also, Stephanie was great about letting me give her things at the last minute, and turning them around quickly. I really can depend on her services.”
Jean Butzen, Founder and CEO, Mission + Strategy.

“If you are not sure what you need to do with your writing—perhaps editing? proofreading? professional opinion? or just unburden your writing off of your shoulders, or perhaps all of it…—contact Stephanie, she will know what needs to be done. You will be satisfied… – I have been.”
Milos Toth, Author of Put the Sky Inside of You

“Stephanie is an exceptional editor. I hired her to help me edit a mid-grade novel. She is professional, dedicated and detail-oriented. I was fortunate to find her!”

Yvonne Rudder, Author of The Keeper of Nightfire Lodge.

“I have to say the quality and content of the magazine is brilliant!!! I can’t wait to see the feedback we get as I think you have managed to deliver what the customer has been asking for. Seriously first class and well done. Thanks for all your hard work in making this happen.”

Wayne Nicholls, CEO at The Gawler Cancer Foundation
